How I got here
I'm Wallace Kok. I build systems for buildings and operators — the kind of work that usually belongs to a full software company — without that cost structure. Buildings are the main field I'm in right now.
The turn
The change was not school, and it was not a parking-lot light. It was my own marketing agency.
I promised clients things I could not deliver, then filled the gap with excuses. Deceiving them started with deceiving myself — living inside the story that I could do it.
I went to Kunming, in China, to study philosophy and to look at myself. After that I closed the agency. I sat still for more than half a year. Then I started Anyi Smart: work that actually solves a problem, instead of selling a story about one.

Timeline
2025 — Started Anyi Smart — solving a real problem in buildings.
2024 — Closed the marketing agency. Time in Kunming, then over half a year of sitting still.
2021 — Started my own digital marketing agency.
2019 — Worked in Taiwan as an IT specialist.
2018 — Worked in application support.
2017 — Withdrew from UTAR Sungai Long (software engineering).
2013 — Graduated from Chong Hwa Independent High School, Kuala Lumpur.
